MISSION OF “PLANETA” RADIO

If you do your job with a lot of love, invest your positive energy and every part of you in it, success and pleasure are inevitable.

“Planeta” Radio, whose waves disseminate only positive vibrations, needs to know that its audience is always satisfied with pleasant and relaxing music and full information about all developments.

The Radio’s first priority is to strive to avoid aggressiveness either in their stories or in carefully selected music that pulls all generations together. In a word, hatred speech and intolerance are not welcome on the frequency which spreads optimism and pleasant emotions and motivates radio listeners to always trust in and hope for better tomorrow.

With each passing day this pulsating thread between “Planeta” Radio and its listeners is getting stronger and more powerful, because they wake up, get up, do their daily activities, sing with us and admit that our music and non-intrusive conversation are beneficial for their body and soul. The Radio helps them overcome problems and gloomy times – it simply becomes their anti-stress agent.

Since March 2003, “Planeta” Radio has been justifying its existence in a quality and professional way and is setting the example by constantly improving its radio domain in all segments. It has never been sued nor received any reproach for its operation, programming content or employment structure.

It is an active participant at all significant public events, and in terms of marketing, it is present in all forms of advertising, from a billboard placed on the busiest locations in Novi Sad, to renown magazines, to publications and media houses with which it has established an extraordinary business co-operation; it is also present at the Novi Sad Media Fair as an exhibitor, where it promotes its programming schedule, conceptual orientation and its successful mission. General impression about its exhibition stand and its dedication are highly evaluated by other exhibitors and Fair visitors, which may be seen in the enclosed photos.

To do good things, and to be generous and 24 hours at citizens’ service is the basic concept followed by this music planet - “Planeta” Radio, whose HUMAN MISSION NEVER ends; it always starts and lasts what may be see from the enclosed material.

For many years in a row, “Planeta” Radio has been organizing the humanitarian New Year’s Lunch for 170 children without parental care, aged 3-25 years, accommodated at the Children’s Village (Dečje selo) in Sremska Kamenica. On that special occasion each child is given a valuable, New Year’s Package, selected according to each child’s age and gender. The package includes what children need the most, from clothes, footwear, to things for personal hygiene and bed linen, to school supplies, sweets and toys for the youngest, and the pedagogues and kindergarten teachers from the Children’s Village use to say that these children receive, for the first time in their life, a package with his/her name on it.

The holidays are not the only occasion when “Planeta” Radio with full devotion takes care of the children at the Children’s Village.

“Planeta” Radio never forgets them and every year takes care to provide a number of scholarships, which motivate children to achieve best results; “Planeta” Radio also motivates its donating clients to also grant scholarships to other children, all protégés of the Children’s Village.

“Planeta” Radio exists only for the benefit of its listeners who have got the habit to ask Radio’s support at any moment, to present their current problem (a case of a lost child, elderly person, pet, ID documents, stolen car, and many other unusual situations that threaten someone’s life or the environment, that “Planeta” Radio takes part in and helps in their settlement).

For many years “Planeta” Radio has been engaging itself unselfishly, and it will keep on doing it, whereas its humane actions launched with good intentions are only a part of the activities this radio has carried out so far for the benefit of its listeners.

Maybe it is improper to brag if you have helped someone in trouble, but it is obvious and crucial that behind all the Radio’s deeds and words lie a clear orientation and the moral codex this radio from Novi Sad sticks to.

Hadn’t it existed in the radio skies, many people would have been deprived of support and good vibrations that are reaching our audience at any moment.
